MP1502 — Dual Door Panel

Overview

The Mercury MP1502 is a two-door access control panel. It supports 2 doors with up to 4 readers (2 in/2 out), 16 supervised inputs, and 8 relay outputs. Connects to a host controller via RS-485.

DIP Switches

The MP1502 uses an 8-position DIP switch bank to set the RS-485 board address (binary encoded, SW1=LSB).

SW5–SW8: Reserved — leave OFF.

Wiring Notes

• RS-485 Bus: A(+) and B(−) to host controller RS-485 port. Daisy-chain up to 32 devices. Terminate last device with 120Ω.

• Door 1 readers: R1 (IN) and R2 (OUT). Door 2 readers: R3 (IN) and R4 (OUT).

• Door strikes: Relay 1 = Door 1, Relay 2 = Door 2. Relay 3–8 available for auxiliary outputs.

• Door contacts: Input 1 = Door 1 position, Input 2 = Door 2 position (use supervised EOL resistors).

• Rex inputs: Input 3 = Door 1 Rex, Input 4 = Door 2 Rex.
